Damn (No Problem Remix)
(Youngbloodz feat. Lil Scrappy)
It's been over a month since my last upload & I apologize for the wait!! I just finished moving & have had a lot of organizing to do in the new place!! Y'all know how it is!!
Anyway, I just added a blend/remix of the smash hit
Damn
by the
Youngbloodz
(available on the 2002 album
Drankin' Patnaz
).
The track is blended with
Lil Scrappy
's
2004 track
No Problem
.
The 2 tracks blend nicely and make a great alternative to either song in your ipod or at a party.
I've also mixed a video for this remix which can be viewed
here
.
Also, be on the lookout within the next week for my latest megamix (still untitled as of now). It will be featuring a vast amount of genres.... from Billy Idol to LMFAO to the Bangles. This is gonna be a sure hit for the fall & is directed towards you music fans that just love all kinds of music. So stay tuned!!

Slap My Beat Up
(DJ Diamond Dog)
Slap My Beat Up
is a heavy bass & sample-heavy track utilizing
the Prodigy
's
controversial 1997 hit
Smack My Bitch Up
from their album
The Fat Of The Land
.
Although the musical aspect of this mix retains the sample's original sound, the percussion is a tribute to the bass era in Miami back in the 80's & 90's with some samples from the
Dave Chappelle Show
.
This track will put your subwoofers to work.

Chaos (A Smorgasbord Of Music)
(DJ Diamond Dog)
This is a 60 minute mix combining music from
almost any & every genre imagineable.
Chaos
combines everything from
Hip Hop
,
Funk
,
and
R&B
to
Rock
,
80's
,
and
Country
.
The goal of this mixtape is to combine songs together that you would never hear played together any other time, all while retaining the music to keep everyone satisfied. Check it out & enjoy this mix because you will not find another combination of such a wide variety of music genres together in one mix.

Fast Lane (Rabid X-Tended Mix)
(Bad Meets Evil feat. Eminem & Royce Da 5'9")
Here's a quick addition for the DJ's. I haven't found a decent extended version of
Fast Lane
by
Bad Meets Evil
,
which is actually a hip hop duo consisting of
Eminem
&
Royce Da 5'9"
,
and is originally recorded on the album '
Hell: The Sequel
.
This simple extended mix is just over 6:00 and has a full 16 bar intro & outro for easy mixing, a party break, and has no tags in it. This is great for use at the club or any house parties. Hope everyone enjoys it!!

Throwback Homestead Jamz
(DJ Diamond Dog)
This is a throwback mix I put together in remembrance of my youth... back in
Homestead, Florida
...
before
hurricane Andrew
wiped it off the map. This mix consists entirely of
freestyle music
,
electro
, and
Miami bass
from the 80's & very early 90's. The music is great (especially for the 33+ year age group) and is sure to bring back memories for those of you who enjoy it. Much love & respect to all of my fellow
hurricane Andrew
survivors.
I appreciate your support, everyone. Feel free to get at me with any ideas or requests...

Get The Party Started (b/w) Little Bad Girl
(P!nk vs. David Guetta)
This is a simple blend combining the instrumental from
David Guetta
's
Little Bad Girl
(from the 2011 album
Nothing But The Beat
)
& the vocals from
P!nk
's
Get The Party Started
(from the 2001 album
Missundaztood
).
For the DJ's, this is also great to mix in on any set with intro & outro.
For everyone who visits my site regularly, I appreciate your continued support. For any & all newcomers, I
hope you enjoy the mixes that I offer here. Be sure to get at me with any feedback or ideas on how to
improve the site...

Party Rock Anthem (Rabid Remix)
(LMFAO feat. Pitbull)
I've remixed one of 2011's biggest pop/electro hits....
Party Rock Anthem
by
LMFAO
(from the album
Sorry For Party Rockin'
).
The remix retains the high energy beat, but adds a verse from
Pitbull
along with party breaks and scratches.
If you already love this song, then be sure to download this remix!!
07/15/2011
Concentrate (b/w) Genius Of Love
(Xzibit vs. Tom Tom Club)
This is just a simple blend combining the vocals from
Xzibit's Concentrate (from the 2006 album
Full Circle
) with the instrumental from the
Tom Tom Club
's classic...
Genius Of Love
(from the 1981 album
Tom Tom Club). Enjoy.

Heaven Is A Place On Earth (b/w) Calle Ocho
(Belinda Carlisle vs. Pitbull)
Here's a new, simple blend I put together...which sounds more like a remix... great for any occasion that may
mix 80's sounds with newer dance / hip hop. This blend will combines
Belinda Carlisle
's vocals from
Heaven Is A Place On Earth
(from the 1987
album
Heaven On Earth
)
with the 2009 club bangin' beat from
Pitbull
's 2009 smash hit
I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)
,
from the album
Rebelution
.

Butterfly (2011 Rabid Remix)
(
Crazy Town
)
In honor of the 10 year anniversary since the release of the huge smash hit
Butterfly
by
Crazy Town
,
from the album
The Gift Of Game
,
I offer a sample-heavy remix to this great track. The beat is unchanged, however I included a bit more of the original guitar sample from the
Red Hot Chili Peppers
'
Pretty Little Ditty (from the album
Mother's Milk
)
which, if you didn't know, is the main sample used throughout the original song.
I hope everyone enjoys this remix. I'm sure this will bring back memories for alot of people!!

Renegades Of Funk (Y Ata A Yoyo)
(Afrika Bambaataa vs. La Banda Salsa)
My most recent addition to the site is a
mashup
which was requested by my good friend (& graphic designer) Danny from
danielmoya.com
.
This new track fuses
Afrika Bambaataa
's
Renegades Of Funk
& La Banda Salsa'
Y Ata A Yoyo. With some additional heavy percussion & an old school
breakdown
(featuring a sample of the 1978 Miami hit from
Herman Kelly & Life
...
Dance To The Drummer's Beat,
this one brings the past into the present with full force. So if you enjoy old school hip hop, funk, and/or electro, then
this
mashup
will surely be an enjoyable one for you!!

Uh Oh (Rabid Remixes)
(
Mystikal
)
Fresh outta the lab!!! Here is a crazy, upbeat, old-school flava remix of Mystikal's latest release... Uh Oh. You can sample the
'R' Rated version
or the
XXX Rated version
,
which is not only a tribute to the original masters of dirty rap... the 2 Live Crew, but a tribute to the music I listened to during my teen years.... Miami Bass!! This remix is an upbeat version of the original and incorporates a sample of
Barry White
's
"Look At Her" from his 1978 album
The Man
.
I've also included a rather new concept for underground DJ remixes... I've included a free download of the
Single Packet for this remix, which is basically the equivalent of a CD Single or 12" Single. The single packet is in a .ZIP file and contains the following versions of this remix....
- Uh Oh (Rabid 'R' Rated Remix)
- Uh Oh (Rabid Clean Remix)
- Uh Oh (Rabid Instrumental Remix)
- Uh Oh (Rabid XXX Miami Bass Tribute Mix)
- Uh Oh (Rabid XXX Rated Acapella)
Hopefully the remix packet will be useful to the DJ's who may wanna use this track in their sets.
Thanks for your support. Stay tuned for more remixes and the upcoming mixtape...
30 Years Of Hip Hop due out later this year!!

Old Scool Jamz
(DJ Diamond Dog)
This is an 80 minute mix (inspired by my old friend David D.) consisting of many of the songs that I grew up on
in the mid 80's through the early 90's. Most of the songs have been shortened so more memories could fit
on a single cd. In this mix, you will hear classic artists such as
the 2 Live Crew
,
Disco Rick
,
Planet Patrol
,
Poison Clan
,
Kraftwerk
,
Pretty Tony
& more!!
If you are over 33, then you will most likely recognize most of these classic jams. Remember, if you enjoy
the mix, please
like or
tweet it so everyone can get a listen.
Thanks for the support everyone and please
remember to get at me with any ideas, suggestions or requests....

Offspring - Pretty Fly (Rabid Dance Mix)
Here's another remix from one of my favorite bands.... the
Offspring
.
This was a real popular track back in the late 90's and was also one of the tracks that helped to propel
the
Offspring
's
1998 album
Americana
to platinum plus status. This remix is a dance/breakbeat based sound to make this track a little more
"club-friendly"
Thanks for your support here at djdiamonddog.com!!

Offspring - Self Esteem (Rabid Slapmix)
I know it's been awhile since I've dropped any new music, but I got somethin' good for
everyone. I used a slappin' west coast beat from
E-40
's
"Tell Me When To Go"
and backed up the
Offspring
's
"Self Esteem" with it. The result is a bass heavy remix of the song
featuring a verse from
Limp Bizkit
's
Fred Durst
.
I hope that everyone enjoys this remix. I also have a video available in the
VIDEOS
section.
Thanks for the patience and support everyone.

The year 2010 brought forth some great new artists, such as

Quick Hitzz 2010
On the first year of a new decade, 2010 brought forth some great musical memories to our ears. We experienced several
breakthrough artists doing huge numbers. We also saw several established artists continuing their trends of musical
dominance. This year was indeed a year to remember the music.
Of all the top artists in 2010,
Nicki Minaj
was probably the most active. She was on virtually everyone's tracks...
from
Trey Songz
to
Jay Sean
to
Sean Kingston
.
She also released her debut album
"Pink Friday"
which contained several
of her own hits, from "Your Love" to "Right Thru Me".
Another breakthrough artist this year was
Ke$ha
,
who blew up the airwaves with song after song from "Your Love Is My Drug"
to "We R Who We R". Her combination of dance & hip hop has been widely accepted by her fans, not only on the radio, but
in the club as well.
The next breakthrough artist actually started his career in 2009, but has been featured on many songs this year as
well as releasing his 2nd studio album.
Drake
is a hot commodity in the music industry this year. He has been featured
on songs from
Rihanna
to
Lil Wayne
.... and all of them are hits.
Drake
has a great future ahead of him.
The year 2010 also saw the return of many of our favorites from a few years ago.
Pitbull
found himself featured on
numerous tracks from
Enrique Iglesias
to
Usher
as well as releasing a new album.
T-Pain
also put in some work this
year and his "auto-tuned" voice was heard on the radio quite a bit, especially after the summer months.
T.I.
was
released from prison and wasted no time getting back into the studio and dropping a barrage of hits from "I'm Back"
to "Got Your Back".
So, in honor of this great year in music, I've created a 2 hour, iPod friendly tribute to the artists & songs that
made this such a great year.
Quick Hitzz 2010
features all the artists mentioned and many many more. Be sure to check
it out. You won't regret it.

Papercut
(rabid remix)
From the upcoming untitled
Linkin Park mixtape, which will be available exclusively at djdiamonddog.com, comes
the Rabid Remix of one of the band's great tracks. Papercut, which is originally available on
Linkin Park
's
2000 album
Hybrid Theory
,
is a great track and retains most (if not all) of it's original energy with this 2010 remix. It incorporates many
sound effects & instrument solos to create an almost completely different sound, yet remains similar in the most important
ways.
If you are a fan of my
Rock vs. Rap series, then be sure to check out this remix to Papercut. Also, be on the
lookout for my upcoming Linkin Park mixtape, which will be a tribute to my favorite band and their musical impact. It
will feature all of their great songs, but with a twist... just like all of my mixtapes!!
Thanks for your support!

Pocket Party
Pocket Party
is a 4 hour mix designed specifically for use with your iPod. Armed with this mix loaded in your iPod, you can transform any dull party into a dance club. Each of the 78 tracks in this mix are seperate, so you can either skip forward or backwards... or pick any track individually to play. All of the tracks blend together seamlessly to make one long-playing mix, which can be used to replace the house stereo or jukebox at a bar, especially good for when there's no DJ available to spin.
There are 2 versions of the
Pocket Party mix,
the HQ (High quality) version
and
the Lo-Q (lower quality) version
.
As the name says, the HQ version is a higher quality version of the mix, encoded at 192 kbps. This version is better for playing on any higher end sound system, such as a car stereo or even home stereo. As a DJ, I recommend this version of the mix. The only drawback of the HQ vesion is that it sacrifices memory in order to retain it's quality. There is also the Lo-Q version, which is encoded at 96 kbps. This version could potentially be used in a higher end stereo system, but will not sound as good as the HQ version. The benefit of using this version is that it will save valuable iPod memory space, yet still deliver the same 4 hour mix to your ears. The difference in memory between the 2 mixes is about 170mb (HQ: 330mb Lo-Q: 160mb). So, if you are only planning to listen to
Pocket Party
in your headphones & are strapped for memory, download the Lo-Q version.
This is a cutting edge sound designed to be used even further than just your iPod & headphones. This is the first of many of these types of mixes that will be designed to bring a whole new dimension to your party or even at the bar on the nights when there's no DJ. As long as you have your iPod and
Pocket Party
, you will be the main person in charge of music at any event. Remember to be on the lookout for more in the
Pocket Party
